““I just wanted to say a huge thank you for the absolutely amazing dance show at the weekend. As a primary school teacher I am fully aware of just how much effort, time, energy and general stress goes into putting something together like that! But all the children were amazing, the show was excellent, the costumes were perfect and we loved watching all the children dance so well and with such enjoyment. What an opportunity those children got that they’d never get anywhere else. ***** has never performed like that on a stage like that before. She was very nervous and apprehensive about it beforehand, but she thoroughly enjoyed every second of it and once she’d done the first rehearsal she couldn’t wait to get back on the stage! On Saturday evening she was desperate for Sunday to come so she could do it all again! The show gave her more confidence, boosted her self-esteem, and made her realise she can perform like that in front of an audience without fear and worry! So thank you so so much for giving her an amazing opportunity that she wouldn’t get otherwise. She’s desperate to do it all again! And for a child who suffers with anxiety, it’s been absolutely wonderful to see what she can achieve and for her to push herself to achieve it. And to give her a really good boost of self esteem!”

“Parent and Toddler Dance sessions with Faye Meakin have meant the world to us! I began with my daughter as a toddler after her ill health as a baby. Suffering from separation anxiety, and too shy to leave my side, we found these sessions, which were a perfect compromise for her growing independence, creativity and need for security. As each session passed, she smiled, left my side, tried new things, and before long she was running to class and ready to join in alone! Faye is so creative, warm and engaging; we have been blessed to grow up with Miss Faye in our lives! My daughter adores music and dance, and she uses ‘The Ballet Way’ in so much of her approach to school and life. The children are mesmerised by her imagination, and each class is like a musical journey! She has the children eating out of her hands! Thankyou Miss Faye for being the most wonderful and inspirational teacher!”

“I love barre fit! It’s really helped me get my confidence back since having a baby. The classes are well planned and Faye is tentative and takes the time to make sure you’re in the right positions. It’s hard work but really enjoyable and there’s a really nice atmosphere and sense of togetherness at the classes.”
